If you ever want to visit Milan, the best time of the year to explore new design projects, products, artworks and exhibitions is the Milan design week between the 14 and 19 of April 2015.

My first day I explored Milano city and more specific the oldest arty district Brera. The Belgian exhibition Confronting the Masters took place in the Pinacoteca di Brera. Ten “Designers of the Year” showed their newest work in this historical setting: Alain Berteau. Nedda El-Asmar, Stefan Schöning, Sylvain Willenz, Bram Boo, Nathalie Dewez, Alain Gilles, Jean-François D’Or en Marina Bautier. and last but not least Muller Van Severen.

The second day I payed a visit to the RHO Fiera with it’s endless halls of Salone del Mobile. After strolling around in 5 of the 24 halls and taking a million pictures I was worn out (and had way to many bags/brochures and gifts).

Must eat: T’a Bistro designed by Architect Vincenzo de Cotis. the moment I walked into the chocolate boutique/ restaurant, I fell in love with the beautiful interior. The combination of royal dark blue furniture with accents of brass, glass and the beautiful marble flour. The food was delicious and refreshing and I had a wonderful evening with my mom.
